Dorado's are built an hour away in Bradenton, FL. The hull design and shallow draw make them a guide's dream. She's run dry in the chop keeping guests happy, but can run in less than 2' of water. Coupled with exceptional craftsmanship and you have a prized fishing machine.

When fishing the waters of SWFL, the key to success is visibility. Not just water clarity but being able to see a school of bait, perhaps a tail fin, or the shimmer of pelagics nearly 30' down in the clear gulf waters. The full 2nd station on the Dorado gives a Captain every possible advantage.

The Suzuki 200hp engine powers the boat with great reliability and effeciency. Using the powerpole lift and the suzuki trim for the motor and a Captain can dial-in the desired edge. Once you find an area of interest, say the edge of a large flat, simply push a button and seconds later you are secure from wind and tide to rest or target those tailing Reds.

After spending my life fishing lures for saltwater fish in the northeast, I never knew the secret sauce of GREAT LIVE BAIT. Florida fish react great to live bait and to keep them fresh and lively, the boat's 30 gallon tank keeps them happy. We also provide Sabiki rods and Casting Nets to help you fill her up. Put the shrimp in the small bait bucket and toss it into the livewell.
